Well, I am only guessing at why that was posted - but it's the shield of Melbourne Grammar School, so I suspect somebody has taken the information that I attended a Grammar School, and that I went to school in Melbourne and put those two pieces of information together, and that's the reason for asking for that image to be posted as some sort of message to me. Perhaps I'm assuming wrongly.

The thing is, I would say that there are at least twenty 'Grammar Schools' in Melbourne.

An alternative to corporal punishment as practised at Thomas Carlton, the school attended by our highly valued contributor, World Wide Travelling Traveller, Richard.

I went there today to look at the new beach huts. The old ones, now demolished, can be seen in the ‘Resignations and New Members’ thread.

No, I don’t get out much nowadays and for the cost of a beach hut (£7000) I could probably buy a six-bedroom, detached house in Peacehaven.

£7K does seem excessive for a gaudy plastic beach hut whose tiny proportions would prevent dedicated spankos from utilising many of their impliments (a deliberate ploy by the local council I expect).
Have to agree that kinda cash could buy a sizable portion of Pee haven.

No, but I was tempted to try the food. The word on the street is that new chef from Peru, Raymondo de los Prattwinkle, turns out the most amazing farmhouse kitchen, Belgian-styled, melt-in-the-mouth waffles made entirely from recycled cardboard and covered with great globules of clotted Cornish double cream straight from the local chemical factory all swimming in delicious sugared water. And all this for only £15.60 a throw. Amazing! How do they do it?

I found some rare photographs of our new prolific member. I recognized the name immediately. I grew up watching every day at lunch.

James/Jams once wrote that this forum was for him a ‘home from home’. I hope this picture of the board outside a new establishment in Hove will remind him of those happy days when he was one of our most valued contributors.

After Corporal Punishment was found to be ineffective, the school decided to 'Head Off' with a more servere puishment for unruly pupils.

Presumably, dissident children are sent to see the head?

Thank you ketta for sending some nice pictures at 8.09 today. You really got things right at 8.09 today because Sharon (on the left) did have gollywoggy hair and Samantha (on the right) was a ginger. You have even caught Samantha (on the right) bashing me in the unmentionables. She used to say <I’m going to jam Jams nuts> and then she did at playtime in my little red blazer like Sharon and Samantha and i is wearing in the picture.

And Miss Laurence is right too. She used to wear short skirts like that and every day at 10.30, 11.23 and 2.37 i used to drop my pencil on the floor and grovel around searching for it and then i would look up her skirt and she wore pink knickers on Mondays.

I don't recall ever seeing a real picture of a British schoolboy or schoolgirl being caned. I mean a real one,not a made up one or from some film by actors.
Oh I've seen lots from other countries,especially on Corpun,mostly from Africa and Asia,of boys and girls being caned in the classroom and in the school corridor. And even in the USA. But amazingly not a single one from the land of the school cane,especially when it was so prevalent up to the 70s.
You'd be a genius if you can find us one.

Eric, possibly before your time, but tiny mobile phones with cameras were not around when CP was legal and practised in some British schools? Nor, for that matter, were ultra small conventional digital cameras. Difficult for a pupil to explain to the teacher why he or she was waving around one of the fairly bulky 35mm cameras which were the best most people could have aspired to for covert photography any time during the period in question.

There were tiny 8×11mm film cameras such as the Minox (so-called spy cameras), but they were expensive, and you couldn't buy the special film for them in your local Boots, so not the sort of thing your average school child posessed.

However, Big John MOI has worked miracles in the past, so you might be lucky!

BTW, how do you know that the photographs you refer to from other countries are genuine? Photoshop and a bit of creative imagination using whatever starter pictures you can get hold of will get you genuine looking pictures of anything you like, including school CP!

A little background info on the picture above. It was taken at a swap meet/ flea market outside a race track/speedway. She was a volunteer at a kissing booth only she was selling spankings. I don't know what the charity was.

Choosing to wear nothing more than a pair of thin cotton briefs and finding a rather uncomfortable place to sit between spankings – this girl enjoyed every whack!

Here's another example of using wall bars to good advantage. I wonder if this was taken at Thomas Calton School.
