Anyone else have a good hangout place for that illicit after school fag?

At Maidstone Grammar, there were two, about 30 yards apart. The Fiesta was supposedly for the mods and was connected directly to the Granada Cinema, had good coffee, and the cool girls from the Girl's Grammar & Tech schools(Brown and Maroon gym knickers respectively, Lotta, and DON'T ask how I found out!).

Contes was for rockers n bikers, was rougher, did better tea, strong, thick sweet and working-class-like me! Girls from the sec moderns-Oldborough,Southborough,Senacre. All gym-shorted here, well not in contes itself, but..........!

You sat as far from the windows as possible, so no praefects or masters could postively clock you and cigarettes together. Some tried, but unsuccessfully.

Headmaster tried to brand me as ringleader of some equivalent Naughty Nineties movement,but no-one squealed, just as no=one squealed about suppliers of other substances only remotely connected to the tobacco industry.

I just told him this was a homework club trying to produce poems for school magazine. I submitted this & it never got published!
