Does anyone recall the Society for the Re instatement of Birching
that operated in London in the 1960s.It ran for many years succesfully
sending out books and information upon the subject from an office run by
several very smart secretaries(female)until one day The leader became embroiled in a newspaper type scandal.Something to do with porno and or call girls and the whole organisation was revealed to be a phony front for the owners twisted perversion and sick goings on?
Up until then it had had a host of respectable supporters in suburbia!
