Cliff Richards Film "Serious Charge"January 8 2008 at 8:07 PM | Bozo |
| Reminds me of the Cliff Richards film "Serious Charge!(196?)
A group of deliquent boys don cassocks and play rock and roll on an organ of a church they break into.
Later they are expelled from a Youth Club night by the local queirmaster.
In revenge one of the delinquent boys gets himself alone with the Vicar then suddenly rips his own clothing knocks over lamps and falsely screams assault assault.
People come running and it all goes against the Choirmaster.
Slowly the townsfolk all hear about the incident as rumour and gossip takes hold.
One muscular Docker fingers his heavy leather belt over tea and exclaims"Right we've got on of them down at the Vicrage"He goes to "sort 'im out".Its all left very vague but the sinister violent overtones are portrayed.
I thought all this sort of thing has vanished nowadays but seemingly not so!

And wasn't it Cliff who was supposed to be the assault victim?
One who WAS actually regularly beaten by his father's army belt in real life, too!
Kenneth More was the alleged nonce!
About as likely as a Sikh cricketer calling a mixed-race Australian a monkey;couldn't ever happen!!!!!!!1
