The strokes are given at such a speed that they are unlikely to be effective. If it were a teacher doing the caning there would probably have been a pause after each one.

That was how my teachers caned us in primary school, on our hands though. We usually receive 2 to 5 strokes in quick succession on our writing hand, it really hurted a lot, probably because we're just kids then.

Strokes well applied and pausing is ideal to ensure the canee has the opportuinity to "process" each one in his/her mind - so that each one reaches the peak of its pain before the next one arrives.

What figures would you reckon?

I think about 5-8 seconds, possibly on to 10 secs between strokes at school, for the benefit of teaching the recipient a lesson.

From the sexual enjoyment point of view,which might or might not be separate from the above, 15-20 seconds? In my spanking times, it was usually that between spanks, to ensure the girl was savouring it thoroughly, but don't know if the cane would be more to achieve mutual maximum enjoyment.

There's probably an equation we were never taught in Physics about how to calculate MME! All I can say is that it might be related to temporary "growth" in that area of the body the Victorians christened "The Nasty Leg".


So, our equation must be something like:

MME = X times (NL(g)+ WDT(lv))

Where X is the unknown constant of lusty attraction between two mutually turned-on spheres, and WDT(lv) is the Wet Down There(lubricant viscosity) factor.

Not bad for a grade 6 O Level in Physics!!

One has to remember that this was not a real caning. A teacher would not cane this softly for a start. As a rule about 5 to 10 seconds was the norm between each stroke. This allows teachers time to take aim again but more importantly it gave the boy the chance to feel the full sting of the stroke befoe the next one landed. It also gave the boy a few seconds to reflect on the pain they are going to feel from the remaining strokes. Lastly it gives the boy a few seconds to settle down ino osition between the strokes.

I agree with George. I went to a girls school in India where the cane was used whenever 'needed'. I got the cane on bottom - all in class for 5/6 times for various offences. Our headmistress would hit with full force & pause for 10-15 seconds. As I bent over touching my toes, I couldn't see the cane coming because of the frock in between. The waiting added to my intended discomfort & would make me panicky.

When I was caned in college once, the caning was a rapid-fire one, but very forceful.

When the caner waits, the victim is made to realise his/her loss of control, which is a part of any punishment.

From your contribution I note you said a pause of 10-15 seconds between strokes. That would make six strokes take 1-1/2 minutes, a very long time to be bending over with dress over your head obscuring the view. And also at full force you must have been in agony??
I also think you should refer to the recipient as 'the offender' not a victim.

In my primary school, caning was given in quick succession. It did hurt quite a bit, but when I received the cane, I usually feel quite numb (and a bit in shock too) by the time the 3rd stroke is given on my palms.

I remember in my primary school, we are in classes of 50 students. When the teacher goes into the class, especially the form teacher, there will be quite a few students to be caned, due to say reports from other teachers about how some students were misbehaving, complaints by the class monitor how some of the students were making noise in class etc. when the teacher is not around.

And then after that, the teacher may haul up those students who did not pass up their homework for caning. And when the teacher returns tests (e.g. spelling tests, small assessments) or students' homework, there will be quite a few students to be caned too, for not performing up to standard.

A period in primary school is 30 minutes, sometimes the teacher has 2 periods in a go and that will be an hour.

With so many canings to give to students, with each students receiving 2 to 5 strokes usually, I think if the teacher were to wait 10 seconds between each strokes, by the time all these 'housekeeping' are done, most of the period will be over.

I am narrating my story. Hope you find it interesting.
I am an Indian girl, 23 yrs old & was studying to be a schoolteacher. In India, girls are generally pampered in school, but I was fortunate to get the right punishments in school.
I went to a girls-only school. These incidents are true & I think I was punished properly for my misdeeds. To be honest, these canings did not arouse me sexually till the last caning, which is described in details below. Here was a 15 year old girl bending & touching her toes with back to class with panties pulled down to knees. In school, apart from Uthak-baithaks, I got the cane on my butt in class for 6-7 times. When in 10 standard, I was caught copying. For this, our headmistress punished me on the next day, after asking my mother. The punishments I received (specially the last one) helped me to reform myself. No more copying for me!
I think my case was exceptional.
