SS beatings

The actuality of SS beatings is hard to guage,
in my reading of the subject I have not come across many.
A visit to Dachau concentration lager saw exhibits of a tired old "whip"must say didnt look like it could flog a dead donkey!
a alleged "flogging block"in the shower room-a big block of wood but little else,
anecdotal evidence from Gestapo prisons have the occassional account of
over hearing SS whippings upstairs etc.but few first hand accounts exist.
(the book Pleasure Camp Prostitute contains such accounts)
One prisoner alleges 6 escapees were stripped naked held down on a table face up and "clubbed"to death by SS guards, nasty!
Himmlers SS castle though only a light work camp has allegations about the usual flogging block exhibited in the castle dungeon.
The transcripts of The Nuremburg Trails contained in the British Libary
run to 10000s pages.
In them Adult Birching was considered painful enough to be classified as "Torture"&
a "War Crime"amazingly enough and some specific allegations are described.
Overall its a patchy picture fuzzed by human imagination, possible exaggeration and sensationalism.
1945 saw the end of CP in many places as it was realised that it was "cruel".
The spectre of unregulated "out of control"SS CP is quite scary.
Perhaps researchers will uncover more actual accounts?

At last conclusive evidence of a link between Sado Masochism and Nazism

Hi Bozo,

Not really my area, a bit far off topic for my tastes. However, for information in case you hadn't realised, you don't seem to have a "Nazi link above" to see!

Although it is an accepted fact of the tortures and atrocities committed by the Nazis in concentration camps, children in Germany at that time were not subjected to the harsh CP as were children in the UK at that time ,with birchings and canings being the order of the day in most schools and reformatories.
So while children were nearly terrorised in their daily lives in the UK and other civilised countries,it was a different story in Nazi Germany.
As far as I know there is no mention anywhere of children being illtreated in Germany at that time. That is during the 30sand 40s. Of course I stand to be corrected on this, but as far as I know this is the case.
Of course in concentration camps and on the war front it may have been a different story, but all wars bring atrocities,as we have seen in more recent wars.

C.P. in Germany 1930s

July 25 2008, 7:04 PM

I seem to recall a 1970s UK anti CP publication was it STOPP or more likely The Little Red Schoolbook claiming that "Corporal Punishment in Schools was re-introduced by The Nazis in the 1930s and 1940s".This was stated with the authority of a definite fact.Presumambly prior to that event CP had been temporarily abolished in Germany as a whole or individual German States (eg.Prussia)at some time?.Strange- as the myth prevails that Prussian School Discipline and discipline in the childhood of one Adolf Hitler and Schoolmaster Henrie ch Himmler seemed to have prevailed. That I suppose was around the 1880s onwards? This assumes therefore that it was The Liberal Weimar Regime of the Post WW1 1920s that "abolished"State School C.P.?Even perhaps C.P.in private homes and institutions though I find this unlikely. In response to the Little Red Schoolbooks'attack on Corporal Punishment I remember an ex M15 Officer appearing on a TV interview claiming that "people who wanted to abolish C.P. were "subversive long haired communists and on M15 watch lists!"I found this quite extreme as it was stated with grave seriousness!

Do you by chance have in your archives any photographs of "subversive long haired communists” who do not want to abolish c.p., are no longer on MI5 watch lists and will soon be retiring from a discredited government organisation?

I am currently taking legal advice.

I am not & never have been a member of any political party.

Not only that, I never raised the slightest objection to corporal punishment in schools.

Provided that the recipients were:

Female

Attractive

15-18

and prepared to mutually **** my/their brains out afterwards if the feeling devoured them!!

If you still looked like THAT in 1976, when I turned 15, mate,

I would definitely have been angling for a trip over YOUR knee!!

Has anyone ever told you you're a bloody walking sex machine?

TERESA

No one has ever uttered those kind words, thank you.

However, at least 4 or 5 pairs of eyes say it every week, even at my advanced age of 56!!
