Just a gentle reminder because 'Looking for story' has been popping up a lot lately:

Per our posting guidelines:

Please don’t use vague phrases like 'looking for story' as your subject line. Instead, provide a brief description of what you're looking for. That way, people won't have to wade through a dozen 'looking for story' posts in order to respond if they find the missing fic. And the more detail you can provide about the story you're looking for, the more likely someone is to recognize it.

For example ....

Good subject lines:

Johnny falls off roof
Cap being stalked
Stories featuring Dixie
Is there a sequel to 'Story X'?
Where are Author Jane Doe's stories?

Not so good subject lines:

Looking for story
Help!
Anyone have copies?
Does anyone know ...
Still looking!

P.S.  I changed the subject lines of some recent posts that used 'looking for story' and things of that sort.  Not something I'm going to make a habit of, but it was bugging me and I had the time.

I'm sure I'm guilty - ever so sorry!

I can see where it would be very frustrating. I'll try to remember to be more specific.
