I am looking for stories that show Johnny's life growing up and what he had to endure because of his heritage. I have read Tammy's stories and loved them. Any others out there that anyone can recommend? Thanks.

Another story you might want to read is Little Boy Lost by Ginger S. It is on fanfiction.net. It's not complete yet, but is definatley worth reading. There is also a story by Dianne called Time to Stop Running. Talk of his childhood is sprinkled through the story.
