hey there guys.

i thought it would be cool to know what u guys have on your personalised number plates.

ive been trying to think of something cool to put on mine when the S4 arrives in 4 months......so i got some time to figure a cool 1-7 letter phrase or thing to put on it.

ive been onto plates.co.za to see whats available ro taken, and so far most of the one word phrases are taken already.

im left with WIKKED:GP which i came up with coz WICKED:GP was taken.

what else do u guys have??

On my ex-S6 I had: AS6QV8 GP. To make it a bit complicated can be helpful. You don't want people to remember your number plate, specially those on the side of the road in uniform.

For the RS6 I have AQV8RS6 GP, but I'm too shy to put them on , so for now it's blank, blank. I wanted ARS6QV8, but someome kindly pointed out that the ARS6 bit was a bit too similar to ARSE.

hey there Andrew.

at first i thought of putting

SSS444:GP

it sounds a bit boring though hey.

what i do know though is that at the bottom of the plate(i know its illegal...but who cares) in small letters im putting "Life begins @ 250Km/h"

sounds cool hey.

How about 4NIK8-GP Heehee.

Bryce, on the bottom of the plate "it's a speed thing...you wouldn't understand".

I like the S4X4 idea.

S4Q sound like swearing.

Hi,

Pardon the stupid questions:

1)If you buy a personalised number plate and pay the +/-R2500, do you then own it for keeps? even if you sell the car?

2)Is it admin to put it on your new car, i.e. re-register? or can you simply put it on and drive-off?

3)Is the annual license-disc fees more expensive than normal?

By the way, QUATTRO-GP sounds the best!

Once paid for the personalised plate is yours for keeps.
It costs R 500 to swop it to another car.
I think the licence fees are still the same.
This is for KZN.

FYI - There is already an RS6 with ACHTUNG GP - too bad!

BTW - I reckon that it is not a wise idea to "test" names on the plates site because I am sure that they keep a record of searches done and then if they think it is a "cool" saleable name they will register and put it up for sale!

Take it easy Bryce

M3Eater is taken by a burgundy Subaru WRX. I met up with him on the MArlboro onramp to the N3 going South. But the time we reached the top of the hill he was about 400m behind me. I slowed down & hooted for his attention. I then told him he'd best change his plates as it wasn't accurate. He wasn't too happy about that

Eating M3`s

June 30 2004, 5:27 PM

Even on a large dose of roids he is going to find it hard to eat that M3 !!!!

Other drivers maybe and up to what speed or distance ? All scoobies stop racing after 400m anyway.

Think twice what you put on your plate , it might bite you in the behind.

I think you are all missing the point here. The last thing one wants on a performance car is a number plate that can easilly be remembered or recalled, unless you have a serious identity crisis of course!
