Just to sample opinion here I see the release on the facelifted A4 coming mid next year and just wondering which one to pick 3.2 FSI sounds great but did you guys see the NEW 3.0 Tdi with gigantic 450 Nm (better than S4)
It will come down to what you prefer Petrol or Diesel but the 3.00 is very impresive maybe if Revo does their magic on the car it will be hard to beat in this class.....

What is the story with this anyway? Is this going to be a facelift or a new model? And if it is a facelift why is it called the B7?

It is officialy B7 which seems like a marketing ploy to fight against the New 3 series coming soon and even though the changes appear cosmetic the chasis has been tweeked and there is a whole new range of engines therefor new platform....pitty that the old B6 had such a short life span therefor it does affect our trade in resale values where as a Facelift would not have made such a big difference So the B6 platform must be the shortest car model apart from the Toyota Camry that gets a new platform every 2 years
The current BM 3 series is in its 6th year where the A4 was launched late 2001 and has already been replaced in Europe by the NEW B7 that must eighter be Vorsprung or Big Insecurity on Stuttgard's part

3.0 TDi Avant Quattro.

Lots of torque, all wheel drive and plenty of space, without the S4 price tag.

I think we were refering to the New A4 (B7) range with the 3.00Tdi engine but yes nevertheless lovely engine eigher way just imagine in the lighter more nimble body.......bottom line is Tuned A4 (B7) 3.00 Tdi will be seriousely good run for the S4 crowd and that is trailing a boat behing you
