Last Friday I was fortunate enough to drive my cousin's RS2, and before that I always thought my 1.8T was a fast car, until that day. Damn that thing can move, you just floor the pedal and the kick you get is just awesome, and it feels like its coming in stages. I must say, I was just amazed at how much power the car has. I have been told that the car has been chipped, its also got a new exhaust system, wow, the sound of those two pipes when you are flooring it, absolutely amazing. the sound is not as loud as a boy racer car or anything like that, its just a nice deep growl.

Nway, just my 2 cents worth, otherwise a stunning car,,,,,Oh when I took the drive I was actually looking for some M3's or S4's, too bad, all I could manage was an Uno, guess you can't always get what you need.

With my fireproof suit on! The RS2 is what I call a real Audi - 5 cyl Turbo with real quattro (Torsen). It has way too much lag but that gives it character.

There is a very nice silver S2 for sale(Graham's)which is basically the same car with a slightly smaller hairdryer!

My RS2 just gets better everyday....
My SW makes sure there's no sudden kick and builds up torque from quite low down the rev range, which allows you better balance on the throttle through the corners and of course much better behaviour in town.

Still havent found a car to really challenge it through my favorite set of twisties....

Gandalf - hear a challange from the Cape here. Perhaps when the finally decide to run the Gydo we can go down and test this in the S2 and Paudi.

You are quite right Mayor - it does sound like a bit of a challenge!

I can't wait for the Gydo but maybe Shane must come up and join us for the Phakisa weekend in January? AFAIK his car is still up here
