I know looks are subjective (BTW I hate all the new BMW's looks), but DAMN! Looks like the S4 got hit with the ugly stick. Old S4 looks better IMO, especially Rob's. What's with the Hyundai/Civic tail lights?

dont particularly like the tail pipes, to small, the the idea of 4 but this looks like 4 little pipes, actually look like the pipes from one of th Mercs.

i know we like subdued looking cars but it is just somethign missing,

let hope it is just a bad color selection for this demo car.

Very, very plain and uninspiring. What I hate the most is that it is the B7, not the facelift, which means that a) my current car gets devalued and b) I see no point in getting the B7 (nothing has changed inside, outside very much a facelift).

I have already decided that my new car is the next 3 Series.

Well I did raise this issue of the looks being too bland, but the members of this forum told me that they like understated cars and I should make my way to BMW if I want agressive looks, well I like understated looks, thats why I bought an Audi, but damn the B7 S4 looks are just too plain, its good to see that some of the members are actually being objective and admitting that the car looks plain and dull, good thing that some are not under the spell "because we like Audi, they cannot be faultered on anything they do".

Well i have said i don't like this new shape, now although the RS4 looks a little better, I am still not convinced that the overall package will be worth the price.

S4 Driver

I will definitely make my way to the BMW..especially having seen what the new 3 will look like. I want to see a leap between the two generations, that's why I bought the new A4 I am driving now - the leap between my old (B5) car and the current one felt big enough for me. I considered the BMW then too - I am not someone who is loyal to one brand blindly - but to me the leap between the E36 and the current BMW was not enough.

That is the reason Audi will not be my next car - unless something happens in my career and I can afford the A6 - which is better by far than any other car in its class, including the E.
