And how was the 1km run in North vs South ?

not sure bout the North vs South thing.

the breakfast run was cool.
only two people showed up....namely
myself(A3 20TDi) and Pradeep(A4 140Kw Brilliant Red).

non the less we drove from the M1 oasis on the M1 north, headed south onto the N1 south and all the way through Grassmere toll plaza to the Vaal.

very nice stretch of road for top end runs and i was very impressed with the oace of Pradeeps 140Kw.

i managed 213 on the computer reading so i was chaffed that my diesel could actually hit that speed.
best of all was that fuel consumption was only 11.5l at that point ha ha

anyways, the run was cool, but i reckon it will be even better if more guys join in next time.

Those are respectable figures. Why did you only try the low boost setting ?

Would love to know your 1 km time at 1 bar ?

Well on the way there I turned the boost up and the car was all over the road. Plus the boost valve was leaking so it would boost over a bar every now and again. So I decided to run at .6 bar so I could get my launch right. And I can say one thing. I know how to launch my baby now. So the valve has been sorted and if all works out then I will go to ODI and run on a bar there when they reopen next weekend.
