Is the front windscreen the same for a S3 and an A3. Need to replace mine and the PG glass guy 'doesnt have a S3 in his book' ???

I guess it would be the same.

Changed mine recently, and Glassfit at least knew about a S3.

Perhaps PG Autoglass are behind the times...

Don't think Glasfit is very "with the times" either...

Sent out incorrect windscreen TWICE when replacing my A6's windscreen, and had to refit to old cracked windscreen while waiting to get the correct one flown up from Cape Town. But by then the 12cm crack way up in the corner had grown to the full height and width of the windscreen.

But it gets better: when going back to their Wynberg depot to fetch the "correct" windscreen, they took the original one with to meassure and make sure they get the right one. Still screwed it up.

Left the car in a mess (black silicone gobs all over, and stained interior on the window pillars). Fitters even acted surprised when water and newspaper couldn't remove the silicone residue from the glass itself.

NOT recommended, and yeah, I complained ! Still had to pay an excess directly to them, even though I was jerked around like never before in my life. A 40 minute job that ended up taking 4 days.
