Hi folks

A bit of a stretch I know, but does anybody have one of these "lying around"? I think mine is dying on me and I will possibly be needing a replacement very soon.

Thanks
Andre

If you do not get one try vagparts.co.uk....they sell OE parts at very good prices!

Hi Albie

Would be quite keen if you could find the details for the fellow. I have managed to fix mine for now. It turned out to be one of the fine internal wires in the MAF that had broken off. Soldered it back and ,hey presto, 200kw all lined up and ready to rock!

Still would like to get a new one though. Vagparts have them new for around 3k so your contact looks good.

Thanks
Andre

Hi Andre

Is that what you got from your chip change? Have you had it dyno'd?

I will chk up his details, but just to make sure you know, the goods one buy off Audifans Marketplace are used , not new, would you still be interested, New ones goes on all the sites between R2700-3200.

Hi Albie

Yeah, after checking around a bit I found the same price. I think I am going to go for the new one as I don't really want to go through this process again. I almost totalled the car in traffic last week when it suddenly cut out then rather unexpectedly came back to life a couple of seconds later.

Thanks anyway
Andre

Hi Craig

It's around there somewhere. Stated (and tested on other cars) values are 280bhp and 430Nm (480 on overboost) so that's just over 200kw. Unfortunatly there is no four wheel dyno in Cape Town (Doep Diesel don't like doing cars anymore) so I can't confirm. The seat-o-pants dyno feels about right and it is a real blast in the low gears with all that torque.

You should have yours done, it's cheap at the price and no changes are required.
