I hear your streched software will be available on Wednesday - when you getting it? When you coming to Kimberley - I'd love to see the effect. You should get a before and after dyno graph - if so can you send me a copy?

I suspect the performance masters dyno isn't calibrated, but at it would give you an indication of the improvement. Oh, bugger, you got quattro, so you can't have it done there...

Maybe if you go to where we did the dyno day, they can do it for you - or is there somewhere else in your area with a 4x4 dyno to get the graphs? I think the Allroad guys would also be interested, seeing they got the same std tune as you - (Will, do you have different maps for the 120kW vs 132kW 2.5TDi?)

It's almost time to change underwear (I mean cars) again, so I'm just waiting for Will to get the 3.0TDi map, but I still need to decide whether to go A4 or A6... I'd love the A4, but me thinks practicality might prevail, as with the next kiddo on the way, I don't know if 3 kiddy seats will fit in an A4 - has anyone done it?

Nah not this year, but probably in late 2005 / early 2006. Like I said, 3 kids in the A4 might be a squeeze, but I'll probably keep the horsepower hearse and swap the golf... (BTW Jane said it ran like a dream this weekend - loved the overtaking when she came down to visit...)

I was thinking about your mapping for the 2.5TDi... The standard A6 is detuned to 120kW cos the multitronic can't handle the extra torque. But the Allroad and A4 is fitted with Tiptronic, which can handle the torque. Does this mean an A6 would be ruled out of chipping?

ye, Will should be phoning me later today with the plans for tonight, as for the before and after Dyno, dont think it will be able to be done today. will have to make plans to get to a quattro capable dyno sometime and can then also get Will to set it back to std for me so that we can get a before and then reflash for the after.

ye, as the other guys there said, manual ah the way it should be! def makes it easier to get to all those ponies wanting out the pen.

Rich, another kiddie dam man, Will did you Revo flash Rich or his car, slow down buddie. i am still trying to get a girl to go and have coffee with me and you are already finished with the new back line for the springbok rugby team.
