Finally happened!

The 330i was still very new but we raced anyway!

We both gunned it from about 10km/h rolling until about 130km/h where the road ended and I was infront with about a car lenght all the time

My car is feeling a bit slow at the moment (maybe I'm getting use to it ) but I know my DV is not functioning 100% ......new DV is on order from the UK

Felt really nice to give a 3.0l a run for its money.

Just a Tuning-Concept chip

I know that a chipped A3 will give a 330i a run for its money in JHB but I'm in CPT Maybe if it was a standing start he would've nailed me......my standing start skills are not that great

No, just a flash of the std chip and I still have my original software which I can load back at any time

Dyno's tend to differ a lot but I twice got around 144kw (6250rpm) and 313Nm (3000rpm) on a dyno here in Cape Town.

An 63mm exhaust will release even more power at higher rpm (+ higher top speed) and torque might be at lower rpm due to quicker spool-up time but I do not have the money right now

I had my 60 000km service yesterday and I must say that the car feels much stronger with the new plugs and air filter!

We are having a 34+ degree day here in CPT and I must say that the car still pulls strong even after repeated hard runs with 95UL

I got new ones after the accident but they should last at least 100 000km.....especially if they are only 2 years old

Hi Jeremy!

I'm back but have been assigned to another project

Now I'm between JHB, CPT and Mosselbaai most of the time trying to complete 3 critical projects.....really need a holiday

I going to try and make it to the CPT chapter!
I'm going to Mosselbaai form Sunday until somewhere late next week, then off to JHB again until the end of the month.

I know I've been saying this for a while but as soon as things settle down I will organise another "night event"

On the exhaust side.....the guys in CPT knows nothing and no-one can do a mandrel bent system! Cash flow is currently not that good (due to another house we bought) so I'm going to have to wait until things look better!
