Hey guys I had a blast even though the rain spoilt what should have been a good outing. Obviously times were off due to the conditions but it was fun anyway.

Here' some videos:

Bryce vs Pradeep

Padeep I think your best was 16.6 @ 136km/h. Not bad for the conditions seeing as the track was very slow (at least half a second slow for everone)

Here's me getting whooped by RS6-King:

RS6 vs M3

RS6 vs M3 Side on

RS6King stuffed up that launch but still ran me down & passed me!

S3 vs Scoobie

S3 vs M3

20VT, sorry about that 1st run.

S4 vs E36 M3

hey there I8.
thanks for the post and the vids.

was cool meeting up again with the guys......next time we'll have a diff breakfast though he he

i thought my diesel would pull a 20sec quater mile, so i was impressed with a best of 17.2sec down the 400m....first time being timed down the 1/4 mile.

couldnt keep it up though and kept pulling 18secs after that..ha ha

i reckon we should do it again sometime soon.

Rob man...the S4 still looks too bloody awesome...and u had some good time down the 400m.
20Vt.....that S3 has some serious power bro.
I8...im sure u will pull ur usual +-13Secs in better weather.
RS6King....not sure what to say bout ur RS6 bro except....DAMN!!!!

anyways chat to u guys soon.

cheers for now.
Bryce

Hey there I8,
Thanx for arranging yesterday - my first time out at Tarlton. Yip best time was a 16.6, a bit disappointing, since my best ever was 16.2 in my B5 110Kw stock. I guess not a good comparison in terms of weight and mileage. My B6 has just turned 3000km's on Saturday - so I guess still a bit tight.
Anyway's - it was still enjoyable. My son's friend, Zee, was "gobsmacked" when all the rides pulled up at McD's.
Look forward to the next meet - hopefully get better times.
Cheers

Bryce I noticed your plates are off. What u using to keep them on temporarily and easily removable, because I notice you haven't got that horrible black plastic plate holder that makes the plate look even larger with a fat black frame around the plate.

Check the 1st video against RS6-King. I did 14.08 @ 161. Pathetic but the 1st to 2nd shift was a really problem to keep the car straight.

Thinking back to the 70's when it took a massive effort to break the S.A. Superstock record of 12,7 with a heavily modified Fairmont GT by Pederson?Hoin at Rainbow most of today's drivers have no reason to complain, but then again, enough is never really enough.

OKk dudes, I'm dumb. You can't host videos on a Geocities account. Our very own Elvis look-alike will host them for us. Should be up soon.

Here's 2 of the S4 vid's. Note the track was slippery due to the rain. Check out my 1st to 2nd shift:

S4 vs E46 M3

S4 vs E36 M3

Rob, it should have rained more, then it would have got interesting.

Here's Bryce vs Pradeep:

Hey bru,

Got a new member for your M3 Brigade.
A good buddy of mine, Joe, from Jhb just picked up his 4Dr M3 this weekend. Had the pleasure of driving it to Jhb with him. Woah! That car is seriously quick. You might see it around JHB - Daytona Violet and currently without plates.

I might be up in JHB in December with the TT, maybe we could all meet up at a Drag strip and see how it goes. Will let Preggie know when I am going up so he could organise a meet.
