Hey guys I had a blast even though the rain spoilt what should have been a good outing. Obviously times were off due to the conditions but it was fun anyway.

Hey there I8,
Thanx for arranging yesterday - my first time out at Tarlton. Yip best time was a 16.6, a bit disappointing, since my best ever was 16.2 in my B5 110Kw stock. I guess not a good comparison in terms of weight and mileage. My B6 has just turned 3000km's on Saturday - so I guess still a bit tight.
Anyway's - it was still enjoyable. My son's friend, Zee, was "gobsmacked" when all the rides pulled up at McD's.
Look forward to the next meet - hopefully get better times.
Cheers

Bryce I noticed your plates are off. What u using to keep them on temporarily and easily removable, because I notice you haven't got that horrible black plastic plate holder that makes the plate look even larger with a fat black frame around the plate.

Thinking back to the 70's when it took a massive effort to break the S.A. Superstock record of 12,7 with a heavily modified Fairmont GT by Pederson?Hoin at Rainbow most of today's drivers have no reason to complain, but then again, enough is never really enough.

Hey bru,
Got a new member for your M3 Brigade.
A good buddy of mine, Joe, from Jhb just picked up his 4Dr M3 this weekend. Had the pleasure of driving it to Jhb with him. Woah! That car is seriously quick. You might see it around JHB - Daytona Violet and currently without plates.
I might be up in JHB in December with the TT, maybe we could all meet up at a Drag strip and see how it goes. Will let Preggie know when I am going up so he could organise a meet.
