Hi Guys,

I've been trying to sell my S3 for a while now. You guys got any ideas why the car is so difficult to sell? Any of the previous S3 owners know?
I figure the market is small, with a few enthusiasts looking for the car.
Any ideas/suggestions, you can also mail me.

Thanks

Lots of them on the market in the last few months. I waited a month or two to long to sell mine (and that was in May).

From what I hear they become extremely expensive to maintain after 100 000km and after that they are worth nothing!

Trade-ins on 2002 S3s are already as low as R180 000!! Shocking!

I was also looking for one but at the current rate of depreciation I'll rather stick with my A3

True that there are quite a few on the market compared to when we bought.

And as for the trade price, i rather not mention, if you want to buy the car, you will never be able to pay anything remotely close to the trade price, so you just get screwed by a dealer again.

Smirnoff:

2002 Audi S3 quattro.

The car is black with cream Alcantra suede interior.
62000 km with Freeway plan to 100 000 km or 2007.
The car has Netstar, sunroof, fsh, decent thread on tyres (more than 50 % life), 6 cd f/loader, full house, mb quartz sound system (comes standard with car).

Lee, I have emailed you.

I am very keen on a car and yours seems to have all the numbers right.

Gotta just chat on that price then...

Simon
