- Please help guys, my 2004 a4 3.0 quattro manual has the following problems: 1) heavy on fuel 400 km on 70 liters 2) noticible power surges when accelarating 3) bmw 328 drills the car 4) car has now done 19000km car has been to alpine audi pinetown and audi centre dbn, had lamda probe replaced, according to the dealers car is in 100% condition.

It could be a couple of things - MAF maybe. Why don't you mail chris@cromec.com - he has a A4 3.0 and is Tuning Concepts local representative. He knows the engine quite well.

As Gandalf stated could be a number of things - is the car stock ?

The best would be to VAG the car - if you drop me an email I will get someone in Dbn to help out.
