First off, let me say I didnt know what it was till it pulled out in front and glistened its C32 AMG designation badge on the boot. Needless to say, the TT made a galiant effort which kept it alongside for about 3 seconds before the C32 blasted ahead. For a second I was thinking, "what the F... whats this little C class doing?" that was the second before the badge popped into frame.

So then I hang my head in shame and snail back to the office to try dig up the stats on the C32... and CAR mag and Top car dont have any stats on it..WHy? Thats just bad motoring journalism.. Anyway, can anyone tell me what the Gauteng stats on the C32 are?

Most of them could not get away from my S3 whatsoever. The are very fuel dependant though it seems.

Would say mid 6's to 100kph. Slower than an M3. Probably slightly faster than an S4.

strange that though guy.
my one buddy has a C32, and we have killed many M3's with it(driver of the M makes a big diff though).

with regards the TT killing it, i guess with a chip and exhaust, it should def run a C32.

but the C32 official stats is 0-100kmh in 5.2
while M3 is 0-100 in 5.4
and S4 0-100 in 5.6.
got these stats off supercars.net
(if they are wrong pls dont crusify me)

i checked this out before i ordered my S4 in june.

C32 is a monster, and an awesome car as well.

but i still love QUATTRO he he ....so an S4 is my choice.....if i had spare cash would i buy a C32....maybe, but then id rather go spend the cash on an RS6 he he

cheers for now.
Bryce

Kodlan.

You said your TT nails em.. What are you running? Cant be stock.. Im stock, and I didnt have a snowballs after 50kph. My traction was better off the line, but thats about it. Im still firmiliarising myself with the TT, so Im not even sure whether mine is boosting and performing as a stock one should.. Perhaps I should make a showing the next time runs are done.

260kw vs 165...hmm.. whats the power to weight?
shot for the stats guys.

I would doubt that any of the S3/TT's that post on this site at the moment (20VT excluded) will manage to hold a C32 that is running well and on race fuel.

Oooooooh! Is that another challenge?
I just love it man!
So now it's going to be FRC,Revo,Chiplogic fighting it out and
then the winner can take on the C32!

When are we going to see all this???

Dont be daft. A C32 with the right fuel and in good condition is only a little slower than M&M's M3. To keep close to that to 250kph you need a brilliant launch and at least 145KW ATW (and not on one of the optomistic dyno's either). From what I know of 20VT's car (it runs 14.5's at Wesbank, just like mine used too) its the one that stands the most chance.

Unless, one day, Chiplogic gets Julians car right. But after all these years, I would not be too hopefull.

Ive raced about 3 C32's.....just normal guys on the roads who probably cant drive the car properly....but hey I won those spesific one's.
I reckon if you can drive the C32 properly like M&M can drive his M3....then its gonna nail you silly! hehehehe
My car is not stock at all.
Got Wildcat Exhaust, ChipLogic Chip, Aquamist Water Injection.
She has been sick for a couple of months until Audi decided that they really want to sort out the Lambda's and couple of other sensors issues I had....she's running lekker now...just need to convince them now to replace my clutch! But yea its a lekker car!

Hey Mr Mayor.

20VT's car ran a 14.5 sec 1/4 mile at Tarlton when the track was wet and everyone was running around half a second slower than normal!

Its a 4motion, wet or dry makes little or no difference to us.

That said I was always painfully slow at Tarlton. I8 will tell you about that!
