Can anybody tell me if you can reset the throttle memory to factory default on the new S6, I would imagine it is a sequence of sorts ~ Andre', if you're still out on the forum I think you know this one? Also I see you around fourways in that RS6 of yours, quite a beast you own there!

Not sure if it's the same as the S4, but turn ignition to position one just before the engine start, depress the accelarator for 5 seconds, and then switch off and on again.

Thanks, I will try quickly should work... Does anything happen in the club now, seems the events have dried up and the forum has slowed down a bit... ?

How did you get the S4 logo into the side thingy-ma-bob?

The club is busy gearing up again, and should have new members appointed soon from what i hear, then things will be well underway, many informal meetings have taken place since the outgoing members resigned. Watch the forum to see when meetings are taking place as they are always posted here.

You can add images to your profile to have them displayed.

On Drive by wire throttle systems there is a throttle memory that apparently records your driving style and adjust to it. Ideally its nice to rest when getting somebody else's car to start from scratch.

Rob - Thanks for the advice, not sure it works that way on the S6 too though, I will ask Owen to confirm mine when I'm at Audi Midrand tomorrow. Thanks for the help bud.

All drive by wire cars do but isn't that reset is only valid if one drives a Automatic (Tip or Multitronic) and isn't the memory for the last 10-15 minutes of driving or so only. Than surely it makes no difference what the previous owner has driven like.
Unless you've just stolen it from a car park hoping for a quick getaway
