Topped up and open road the best I got was 972kms...............then I got worried.
If I fill normal I get 750kms. I only fill until the pump does that clicking sound then I stop. On the long road I fill to the brim and get close to 1000kms if I behave.

WOW 1000km on a 70ltr PETROL tank in a TURBO .....WOW again.
Two questions Racharld what petrol are you fueling ?
Are you sure you dont have some sort of a stopper or limiter under your right foot you pedal obviousely doesn got far in )
Very good my 1.8T is Multitronic and should I repeat should be lighter on fuel than Manuals but to get close to 1000 km even open road is a bit steep

My good consumption might be due to the fact that I fill my car to the brim even afterthe pump has clicked. I find it convenient to drive without stopping for gas especially when going to UPT. I never gotten less than 800 on the long road but then agin my average km/h is always between 110 and 120km/h.
