The big news however is the inclusion of the 2.0 FSI turbo engine, which will also become available in the A3 three-door. This four-cylinder unit with turbocharger delivers 147 kW and its maximum torque is 280 Nm, which is available across a wide speed range from 1 800 to 5 000 r/min.
As a result, the A3 2.0 TFSI (with 6-speed manual gearbox) is able to complete the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds, and continues on up to a top speed of 234 km/h.

So now is the 2.0T FSI confirmed for definite ? Anyone know of a release date ?
I went to Audi Sandton to test drive the 3.2 DSG, very nice car, can't believe the DSG gearbox is as smooth as it is. Handling was good but don't expect S3 handling. When I questioned the 2.0T FSi they had no idea of a possible release of the model.
Was considering getting the Renault Megan Sport, they offering 5% discount on the car which makes it a very attractive price, but they got ECU's issues already. They consider it a small issue I consdier it a big issue. If you in top gear and under 1500rpm and put your foot flat. Apparenlty some Map sensor fails and ECU goes into safe mode with lots of errors. Then the car can only be drive under 1500rpm until sensor is replaced. Renault won't replace sensor on the car until you get the problem. (Doesn't give you much confidence in the after sales service does it)
Considering the GTI 2.0TFSi is out in March for about R250k, wonder when they will bring the Audi ?

Hmmm... 147Kw that's more like it! If I can swap 2.0 FSi for the Turbo or if they can offer us a choice, for people like me who like more power. Either by installing a turbo in my car or a reasonable swap/Trad-in.
Does anyone has the inside info on this?
Don't do anything that I wouldn't do!
