The power output of 420 bhp is impressive but is it good enough on our dodgy fuel and the fact that old generation (B5 that is 2 generations down) was a bi-turbo non NA engine and most guys in the States /Europe are having very little trouble extracting 450+ horses from them.....Audi is indeed running away from Turbocharging (other than diesel) and the likes of Subaru / Volvo / even Mercedes that has proper turbos not kompressors on their latest A& upcoming B class cars are going to reap the benefits and cult like following Audi has had.Long live the turbo ...

Anyhow very powerfull car.
(..at least untill it encounters the likes of the 518 bhp RS4 Avant as featured in Audi Driver few months back
