Post freeway plan and wondering about non-dealer services.

What oil, plugs, brake fluid, filters, service centers, etc. do you guys recommend. I have in the past read some threads about the best oil and best brake fluid etc. but don't seem to find them now. So maybe it is time to re-open this discussion. We all look after our babies and want only the best for them. So cost being of secondary importance "which are the best products to use?"

With regard to filters, I would suggest that you only use the ones from audi (ie oil and fuel) air you can use a fram etc.., Oils, I user Shell Ultra , but Mobil 1 is very good and Castrol RS .. PLugs , Check with Autozone etc if the keep the same plugs that your car uses, otherwise Audi. Brake stuff I am not sure

I get the oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and plugs from Audi. Gearbox and engine oil, I've currently got Royal Purple in, and it appears to work fine

Brake discs and pads, I'm getting from Powerbrake, and brake fluid I'm going to be using Motul - hopefully within the next week or so. Afraid I can't comment on those components just yet.

Need to get the part numbers for my cam-belt service at 150k km's, and get those from Vagparts. Otherwise, parts for a normal service are pretty reasonable.
