The discount you will get on the RS6 will probably be more than offset by the knock you will take on the S4 trade-in. I'd keep the S4 and wait for the next RS 'something' ...

decisions decisions eh?
Personally, I would stay with the S4, because on the handling side, I think it is el supremo! What would life be without the traffic circles at Monte Casino and a S4?
But then again, when it comes to brute strength, the RS6 is the daddy!!!
I'll let you buy the RS6 provided you give me the S4. We'll work out a payment plan (R2K per year for the next 150 years or something? How could you possibly refuse?

Hi folks,
Well after some strong negotiating tactics from my side I have decided to take the RS6 and will be trading in the S4. All in all they gave me a fantastic deal that I could not refuse and a very decent trade in on my S4 compared to some other numbers.
So I should be the proud owner of a great family car soon

Well done congratulations Rob what a pleasure like you put it a great family car (if I got one I probably would not mind working on the kid situation with the wife knowing that you can kick most sports cars butt with 4 -5 passengers in your RS6. happy motoring and post pics when you get the car

Thanks very much for all the supportive words, makes me know why I belong to the club
A word of advise required, I want to give the car a good treatment and spoke to Wayne from Sonax, they can do a full paint and leather treatment. I know there are many treatment types available and having had a bad experience at Fourways with the 3M people I want to be sure this time.
Any recommendations?

You can't go wrong with Wayne - he is very good! Fourways "polished" my RS6 before I got it, and I have never seen a worse job. I have it looking reasonable now but I still have lots of work to get it perfect

Hey there Rob,
Great decision, especially the colour....am I being biased??
Congrats, I know you're gonna enjoy the twin turbo's up here in GP. When you getting the monster ?
If early next week, maybe we should pay Jacksons a visit, on a Wed night!!
I parked under some tree and had tiny spots all over the car, and could not get rid of them. While my car was at Audi Sandton, I asked Wayne to do his tricks on my ride, and I am fully impressed.
Cheers

I know what the agenda is about Jacksons and Wednesday nights, and it has more to do with just looking and talking about cars Its the parade going upstairs. I've asked one of teh bouncers if he'll let us in with them, but he just rolled his eyes and sighed!
