and he didn't run out publicly and tell folks what a disaster that this incident became. He was not looking for publicity and didn't want his family exposed to the ridicule that they later had to endure. I was just getting into the internet side of the BF search when this occurred and getting good info on this incident was not easy. Another point that I think is important is that Mike's account has remained the same ever since he reluctantly came forward (to make sure his side was told) . Also it really doesn't matter what the BFRO's intentions were, the people they sent had no idea of what they were up against.(Many folks in this pursuit have good intentions but have no clue) I know there are some good folks in the BFRO, as there are in most groups, and they are aware of the problems. Just my 2 cents.
