I saw this game while looking for something interesting to play. I saw BC on the cover and went nuts, I saw he was the voice actor and about fainted, I saw it was $20 bucks and about screamed in surprise, and I saw it was PS2 and was glad I had bought that.
Yes, this new game is cool. No multicolored blood, but nobody's perfect. From what I've heard, it's better than the HTTK version. A chainsaw in one hand in the ol' double-barrel in the other and you hack and slash through town, blood spraying everywhere and creating modern art as Ash's boots track the red stuff everywhere and he says those quips we all love!
The really cool thing.... You have to be on your toes the whole time. This is not a game you can leave to go get a drink on. You put down the controller and suddenly a Deadite has jumped through a wall and tackled you!
And the storyline fairly reeks of OmarSnake! I swear, the creators must have been reading this story, cause I already know who I don't trust in the human category. The Deadites I just cackle and curse and kill. Very soothing that.
Anybody have any other things to say about this game? Cheats for unlimited ammo or immortality.
Oh yeah, Omar...gotta catch up. I've been busy with Vegeta and Spike fiction, writing and reading it.... Busy little bee. Now I'm stuck on the third level with nothing but a walkthrough.... Poor me! ^_~
is there a good PS2 emulator out there for Windows XP? I wants to play the game, but i don't have whatcha call a "Playstation 2" machine and i just sunk a ton o' money into a new car, so i can't afford to get me one.
I don't have any cheats to suggest, but I did find out one thing - this game is PERFECT for playing while listening to Oingo Boingo's "No One Lives Forever." Try it. It's like the song was made to be an alternate soundtrack, I swear.
