Okay, I know a lot of people don't seem to care for the comics series, but check this out. Comic-book Ash is currently gearing up to fight... are you ready?

The MARVEL ZOMBIES. That's right, Ash is actually going to confront the zombiefied versions of the classic Marvel superheroes after being transported to their universe by some insane means. I can't help it, I love the Hell out of this. I'm just such a geek. But hey, at the very least this means an upsurge in popularity for the franchise, right? This is high-profile crossover...ing. So Hell, I think it's cool.

On an unrelated note, has anyone else seen the Evil Dead musical? It's freakin' great.

Okay, so I went to go see the Evil Dead Musical on December 2nd... and I live in FLORIDA! So, it cost me a few hundred bucks to see it, but you only live once. And I want to see it again.

And the Marvel Zombies crossover is too cool!


Is it safe to say that Ash and his battle with the Evil Dead gets more popular year after year? I mean for a 24 year old franchise (Evil Dead) or a 13 year old franchise (Army of Darkness) to have a musical, 3 video games, a comics series, several action figures, a toy line, books, etc. . . I hope it NEVER stops in my lifetime!!
