Response to Re: Need to clarify

Truer words have never been spoken. I have known and had American dobes that had tons of courage and character, as well as European bred ones that were lacking all around. Crappy breeders are universal just like crappy dogs. I read one of these posts and it said something like it doesn't matter if an American Dobe gets a schutzhund title or can be protective. I guess the same can be said for European bred dogs too. It is funny that people say that only the European bred dogs are "real" Dobermans when that is a lie. They are all real and there are good ones and bad ones bred on both sides of the Atlantic. Just like Soccer is more popular over there and football here, does that mean that football isn't a "real" sport?
