Response to Interview with Avi Marshak.

Hello Mr Marshak,

You mentioned that the changes in the FCI standard were made to meet reality. I believe that also and I think the new standard reflects the breed norm better, and is 'healthier' for the breed. Could you explain the effects of the changes in shoulder angulation and body length as you see them? Has it caused any change in the style of dog you see in shows now?

You also mentioned several times that many breeders are 'waiting to see what will happen' with the prohibitions against docking, and against owning working breeds. What will happen in your opinion? Do you think the breed will eventually regain popularity, or will it fade away in those countries?
