| Yes of course,
At the seminar you and others have said that in order to compete at the MR III world stage you must use a mal. I agree whole heartedly that dogs that are tested for instance as Patrol Dogs will be more likely to produce Patrol Dogs.
Q - What I would really like to know is the characteristics that stood out in front of the other breeds that pursuaded you to go with a Mal, other than that they have been bred for ringsport and that it is in the pedigree as such? Is it stamina? Is it courage? Hardness? Handler/Dog relationship? A combination of several factors? What is in the 75 years of Ring Breeding that has added to the succesful working ability of the Malinois?
A - Sorry, I misunderstood. This is what I'm looking for in a Mal. Sociability, accepts all environmental challenges, agile, speed, power, balance of drives, stamina, bite's well, hard hitting, eager to please, intelligence, heart, scenting ability. I think these qualities are sought after many. I feel I have seen these qualities more often in Mals and sometimes all of the qualities in one Mal.
Regards
Bob
