Response to Re: why do you want/need a DV rating for an ADA ZTP?

I had to have the end Quinna's tail shortened a little - she banged it so hard against so many hard surfaces, that the skin never healed - it was a mess. On the advice of a friend, while she was under, why not do OFA prelims, since she was such a 'kamikaze' puppy anyway, just in case she hurt herself. Had I known that I could have sent the films to the DV at a year at the same time, that would have saved me more money, b/c now, I don't have OFA official readings, and I will have to get her hips xrayed again. If I had rec'd a DV rating, I wouldn't care about getting her OFAs.. yes, there was identifying info on the xrays, but I don't think copies were made so I could turn around and send them to the DV sad.gif
