I need to find a new home for one of my pups named Aengus. I prefer a working home. Aengus is now 30 months old, black and rust (nice dark rust), cropped/docked with a slightly floppy left ear. A skin tuck was done but was only partially successful.
Breeding: Kaz (Arkan Kazimir von Rubenhof) with Aine O`Ryan (Ascomannis' lines: Eiko Germania v. Brixi Germania). Aine is seven consecutive times SchH III, IPO III, VPG III and has earned High Protection, High Tracking, and High in Trial numerous times. Aine has OFA Good Hips, Cerf clear (2009), vWD Carrier, and normal thyroid. She is Brown & Rust, 63 lbs and very healthy.
Kaz's background: Arkan Kazimir Von Rubenhof "Kaz" is an Agir Miss Jakosa son (Butch Hendersons very successful Dobe)
PSA1 (2 times HIT) (H.O.T.), FR Brevet, PSA PDC, CGC
OFA Hips Good, OFA Heart Registry EKG clear/normal, Heart normal (24-hour holter; June 2007; 0 VPCs), vWD Clear, CERF (2005), MSU Thyroid Normal (2005)

Aengus' History:
Aengus is a strong dog and needs an experienced handler. Aengus had basic Schutzhund foundation training until 5 months. At age 9 months and at age 13 months I picked him up and took him to several protection sessions. He did very well. From age 20 - 25 months he received weekly bite work training. I also did foundation work for tracking on Aengus at each of the ages listed above.
His original owner was a Schutzhund newbie and did not stay in the sport. He then bought an APBT male and tried to raise it with Aengus. The two dogs tangled twice when Aengus was 19 months old so I bought him back at age 20 months. In the past 5 months, Aengus has been kenneled with a professional trainer and received anti-dog aggression sessions along with regular PSA style environmental work. The trainer reports good results. Aengus is very at ease around people. I still recommend against having Aengus in a home with any male dogs.
He was raised with three little girls in his 1st home (Aengus age range 5 - 20 months) and never showed any issues. He has not been around children since age 20 months. Aengus got along very well with each of my female Dobes.
My background: Ive owned Dobes for 31+ years and have been into Working line Dobes the past 6 years. I currently am training 3 working Dobes in Schutzhund and do not have the facilities to have a 4th working Dobe.
