Hochschules & other German (&/or Austrian & Swiss) conservatories

Hey all,

I did a search, naturally, but didn't come up with anything on this! I know that deadlines for Hochschule apps is coming right up (this week, I do believe!), but I was wondering if anyone had advice on where the best schools/programs are? Also, where the best cities are to base yourself as a student type hoping to get into the pro audition circuit fairly soon. Any/all personal experience would be great, including good teachers out there. Thanks!
