Sherman with 105 mm cannon

I tried posting this on Armor anwsers but no one anwsered. Ha Ha, I was wondering if the Sherman M4A1 with the 105 MM was used in the battle of the bulge? I also would like to know what towns if any they might have been used in to support infantry?
