Well the airbrush is just called a Hobby Airbrush. It seems that it is one of these no name brands, nothing spectacular. The nozzle on the paint bucket (probaly wrong terminology) is brass and can be adjusted up and down according to the amount of paint you want. I think it is a gravity feed system as there is a pipe that stretches from this nozzle into the bucket. The air supply nozzle is about 1 cm away from the brass paint nozzle and is fixed. I dont know if this description will help but I will try and post a pic of this airbrush.
The air source I use is from an air canister that I purchased from our local hobby store. I unfortunately do not have a compressor.....but one can dream. When spraying a base coat I really get amazing results (amazing to me as I have always used a brush in the past) but unfortunately when it comes to finer detail it gets messy. This airbrush is probably a really cheap one (but a gift is a gift) and I would really like to make it work. If not could you recommend some alternative airbrushes. I have heard of an Aztec???.
Anyway Mike thanks for your response.
Cheers Wayne
