Here is my finished paratroop! He is from the Dragon hedgerow tank hunter set. Thanks to everyone in this forum who helped with tips. Most of this figure was done with Vallejo acrylics. The camo pattern was done with humbrol enamels and over the camo smock I painted a very light oil wash to help blend the pattern. This is only the second figure I've attempted since I was a kid and I'm pleased with the results. I would encourage anyone who is reluctant to try figure painting to give it a shot. Practice is the key; I painted this guy's face 6 times. If anyone want to know the paints used let me know and I will post them. Thanks!!

Nice figure. As your skills improve you might want to look into Hornet headsets. I'm not a very good figure painter, but the detail in the Hornet heads make mine a little better than average. With your skills developing it would make your figures really top notch. Nice job.

Thanks for your comments. Jaume, I try to learn as much as I can from your figure painting. Erwin, I am doing another para. This time from Dragon's Ardennes set 1. I will post pics. Brian, I love the Hornet figs and heads, I am waiting until my face painting is better before I purchase some. Again thank you!
