...first I paint the basic camo,that is the standard splinter pattern for the whermacht with reversed colours.
Then,I paint the edges with a mix of the ground colour(tan)and the colour of the shape(green or brown).Finally shadow the overall pattern and highlight every element separately.
Not difficult but much time consuming.

I must say that the blurred pattern is great but the wood paintwork on the rifle is really wonderful.
