I need help please. I'm using a badger 200 airbrush with a compressor and tamyia acrylic paints and isoproyl alcohol as thinner. My problem is this when a spray the paint i get little dots on model with no paint on them while i'm spraying. I have tryed thinning the paint more, i just get the same thing with a runny paint job. i have tried lowering the air pressure that helps a little but its still there. I'm thinking maybe i need a moisture trap. Any one got any ideas, thanks.

Hi Rory,
Sounds like the surface of the model is contaminated with oil or mold release. Try washing the model with warm soapy water and air drying prior to painting. You should wash the pieces while they are on the sprue prior to building the kit. I think that will solve your problem.
Cheers,
Charles
