What style of Panthers were in Normandy for the invasion of France? What is Dragon's website?

I thought of more questions seconds after finishing the first post. What is the name of the German cargo transport wwagon with the two rows of seats? Do bailing out tankers come as Germans? If so who produces them? Did the Germans ride on top of Panthers like GIs rode on Shermans?

First, this question would probably be more relevant to the Armor answers forum.

Panther Ausf A late were mostly seen during the Normandy campaing, together with some early Ausf G.

Ausf A late:

Ausf G early:

The Dragon website is:

There are some examples of german soldiers riding on tanks. Dragon makes a figure set after pics of this showing actions in Lorraine, France. Dragon also makes a crew at Kursk bailing out.

Hope this helps.

THanks for the Tank info. I saw that Dragon kit with the tankers already but that was not exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a German set like the one in the diorama "Courage Under Fire." Would it be easy to modify the American tankers to look like German ones?

Converting german troops to US troops or vice versa would be difficult.

Dragon makes a US tank crew set. Several brands make good german tank crews. Miniart, Tristar, Masterbox. Be aware that the Verlindesn figures are actually 54 mm, not 1/35, so would be significantly larger than real 1/35 figures.
