OK how abought five oclock shadow?

How do i get a scurffie look on the faces of my 1/35th figures? I know they did'nt have much time to shave.

a thinned application (almost a wash) of greyish brown. I have toyed with using finely ground pastels of similar shades and have found that it looks good. The only thing is, be sure not to handle the figure too much, in fact, apply the pastels after the figure is on the base and you can avoid accidental "shaving" of the 5 o'clock shadow. HTH, Dave
