Which end is up on a German parachute canister when it is floating to earth? I'm going to build a diorama with the Dragon Gen2 German Fallshirmjager and I thought having a weapons canister caught/hanging from an olive tree would work with the scene, but before I get started I need to know which end would be up and which end would be down on the canister.

thanks in advance!

...there's an impact absorber mounted on that and if you put that part closest to the ground, you should be o.k. Is the canister in the Gen. 2 kit the same as the old Crete kit? If so, just build according to instructions and rig it as shown in pictures. I wish I had a scanner to show a picture or two I have of one of these canisters on the ground. Sorry. Wish I could help more. Dave
