Xtreme Modelling Internet Contest

This is a contest for readers of the English edition of Xtreme Modelling. The goal of the contest "no fear, no limits" is to encourage modelers to tackle new challenges or try new techniques to improve their models, always under the premise that modeling is a hobby and its essence is to enjoy it, so all sort of models can be entered, from the more classic models to the bolder ones.

1. Categories.
There are two general categories: World War Two and Post-War.
Modelers can compete in three classes: Military Vehicles, Dioramas and Vignettes, or Figures in scales between 1/76 and 1/35. The entries are limited to two per competitor in any category or class.

2. Competitors must send a CD with pictures at 4.0 mega pixels of resolution as minimum, and the buy proof of five issues of Xtreme Modelling (This buy proof is in the last pages of the magazine). Subscribers don’t have to send these buy proofs, only to not finish their subscription on April 30thl. The best 4 or 5 pictures will be selected to put on the web and to judge the work. The postal address will be sent by email


3. Works entered into competition must be unpublished. The Best of the Contest and the two first prizes in each category will be published with a corresponding article written by the modeler exclusively in Xtreme Modelling.

4. Deadline: 1 November 2006 till April 30, 2007

5. Prizes.
Best Work: From Xtreme Modelling, a $300.00 coupon for the Jodi Rubio shop

World War Two:
1st prize: A Rolls Royce from Jodi Rubio
2nd prize: An annual subscription to Xtreme Modelling
3rd prize: A pack of 16 Model Air colors from Vallejo

Post-war till today:
1st prize: A Pick Up HI-LUX with Duska from MIG Productions
2nd prize: An annual subscription to Xtreme Modelling
3rd prize: A pack of 16 Model Air colors from Vallejo

6. Any question or doubt will be resolved by Xtreme Modelling. Competitors accept these rules for competition.
