Response to I concur that

As expected the UN dinner was a night to remember, a nice room at the restaurant to ourselves, a great menu, very good to go with it, no doubt arranged by Thomas.

The presentation by Rolf Snyder was quite clearly done by a real enthaustiast of Horology, we were all able to talk with Rolf and he was very open with his answers on all subjects.

Then there were the watches, it was remarkable to be be able to hold, try on and test drive such peices, even the Sonata that has not been released yet.

Seeing the Freak in action can only be described as fascinating.

Those attending the dinner had their own treasures to show, Mark, with a 1915 vintage UN pocket watch in execelent condition and John with an 1815 A.L.Breguet open face pocket watch with certificate from Breguet.

Another fine evening with "thepurists", thank you Thomas.

The 2 1/2 hour drive back home was filled with watch talk.

We won't miss the next evening.
