Does anyone know if the Acqua Perpetual (ss) has or will soon be discontinued??

I've inquired at a few ADs as well as some 'net dealers, but the Acqua Perpetual model that I'm now considering (ss, bracelet, silver dial) seems to have gotten very scarce.

I did, in fact, find one, but the asking price was extremely high...

Does anyone on this forum know if this model has or will be discontinued soon?
Any rumors of a successor ?
