Hmmm... I've yet to see all of last night's show (I had a date with a boy named "Siegfried" and only got home in time to watch the last 5 minutes of the show on Telemundo West -- did I say that I love satellite?), but I have to vote that the intentionality (if that's a word) of his speach was solely in the hands of the writers, oh, and maybe the actor was coloring it a little in his delivery as a tip of the hat to those of us "in the know".
From what we've seen of him, he's a blind little toady who believes that he owes his position to DD, thanks to his recommendation to the President, and I suppose it's too much to hope that he knows how to interpret police data or analyze suspicious anomalies.
Chepe was throwing darts at a photo of Antonio Vega - actually, it looked like a several years old PR photo of Humberto Zurita (in which he was more well-shaven than he is now while playing DD).
I was surprised Chepe didn't take the photo down or turn it over when he heard Esteban knocking on the door - I was worried that Esteban or Gus might see it!
Okay, it looks like Ines is perhaps moment's away from visiting her dearly departed husband on a permanent basis... or will there be a stay of execution?
Now I'm wondering just how many of DD's enemies will fall victim before the novela ends. I know, thanks to my inside source, that there will be at least one (but that one sure thing is not Ines and I'm not telling who he/she is), but we could see a real blood bath before we're done. After seeing him last night in the black briefs, I'm hoping EE(k) makes the list! Make that ickEE!
And hey! Brie! What do you think this means for you? Sure, you asked DD (in that bewildered little boy voice that you channeled out of your past) if he would get rid of you when you served your purpose (the way he had you get rid of Repulsiva), but did you really believe him?

I could have lived without that whole scene! Nancy has always been one of my favorite characters, and everytime she goes near EE I cringe. Ick.
As for the six feet under sweepstakes, I nominate Esteban. I still feel his hair gel will get him into trouble some day. Actually, I was just wondering if its possible that he might save Ines- maybe he will pop over for an morning visit (or maybe he spent the night...)
Nancy has been one of favorites also & it grieves me that she has lowered herself so much .... to this point of icky poo city!!!!
I personally would like it to be Ines that ends up visiting her dearly departed husband in the hereafter...she serves no earthly purpose as far as I'm concerned.....I don't care how much she tries to make an attempt to redeem herself....she never really had a chance in my eyes....so sayonara to her from me!!!!!!
