Next few weeks...

By this time I started being aggressive in my mails to Motallabe. I asked him specific questions. I asked him why would he insert nails that fashion. why would he put bent nails. Why were they not long and strong enough. He had lame defense for every ****. After a while he would avoid mailing you back. I threatened him saying I am going to die and before doing so I will report to this board. He said that he can change the nail on the left leg. But no need of graft. The bone growth will certainly happen over a period of time. I shot back saying how long should i be waiting for that miracle to happen. He pointed out Dr Fragomens analysis and said the non union is due to the nail. So if the nail is changed it should all be fine. But I shot back saying I will not settle for anything less than exchange of nails and graft. He said - 'ok I would do that for you'. But I wasnt going to settle for anything less than complete cure if I were to go back to hell called Motallabe's treatment.
I told him I will not live with deformity. In fact what inspired that was - I was really developing ankle pain by this time. That was due to length difference and the angle. I was confused there is no single way to fix a problem of this magnitude. I was depressed helpless and didnt even talk to parents. I told him in another mail I want to be cured completely. I suggested I need OP-1 graft because I dont want incisions unnecessarily else where in my body. (Besides autograft has its own issues). He realized I wasnt backing off. He said I can bring OP-1 graft myself when I come to Iran. I mean how ironic this is - Transporting a graft material that is going to be inside your body for possibly the rest of your life??????????? wtf. Anyways its Motallabe right? While these mails were being exchanged Dr Fragomen asked me to fix my problem asap and not wait until it becomes inevitable (after all left nail is moving inside remember?). Pus was coming out of right leg wound again. I was confused as to what should I be doing. I mailed Motallabe. And I told him I want my right leg fixed along with the left in the same surgery. I can not take a later surgery. He finally agreed to correct my right leg by performing osteotomy along the lengthened site and straighten the leg.
