Hope you are having a great holiday weekend. Last year I was in the hospital in severe CHF, so today I am not only celebrating our country's freedom, but my freedom from heart disease. We went to the Lake and watched fireworks on the water last night. This morning the family surprised my inlaws on their 50th Wedding anniversary with an old fashioned country breakfast, then we headed to a friend's home for a pig pulling Bar-be-que. Now we are resting a while before heading to the First Friday festivities on River Walk in Augusta which will close with more fireworks. Tomorrow we travel to a friend's wedding and Sunday have a patriotic service and lunch at church. See why I'm glad I have this new heart....I would miss out on so much! Have fun and be safe!
